Not All Officiants Are Worth The Cost
Just because an officiant (or any wedding vendor) is more expensive than another doesn’t mean the cost is the same. What do I mean? The longer term effect of paying less for something can increase the cost you pay over time. For instance, a budget bargain officiant might not know how to file your marriage license correctly or might mess up the photos that you paid for by standing in all the shots making them useless. You might have to pay extra for travel even though the base price is lower. You might be nervous that the officiant will even show up because you paid a low price for an officiant that doesn’t have a backup or support team. Even though the price might be different, you need to ask yourself, what is the true cost of having the best wedding officiant vs. the rest.
